As simple as it sounds, walking is so simple that it is actually done almost anywhere consciously or unconsciously. As a living being, we need a form of movement to be able to get us from one place to another. Most of us have been privileged to be able to use our legs for it's intended function. Thank God for technology that has been designed to help our brothers and sisters through the use of the chair.
Walk at a brisk pace for 30 minutes or more on most days. Do it alone or with a friend. Try a walking club or recruit your family for an after-dinner walk. All you need is a pair of walking shoes.
My general health had improved tremendously whilst walking. I often do some mild meditations whilst walking. I say mild, because it does not require 100 percent concentration. You don't want to be absent minded while at it.
