It's the new year again. Whew!!! Another 366 days rolled by so quick.

If you are on this planet with me, you all know that it's been a tough 2020, through the pandemic, chaos everywhere, people losing their loved ones, so much uncertainty and all.

It's really been a draining one but you know what? the fact that you are still here, is worth being thankful for. The one that created us will definitely see us through it all.

Here's the thing, no matter how you start this year, whether you are in a bright season of your life, crawled or walked, don't be hard on yourself. Whether you accomplished the last year's goals or not, doesn't make you less of who you are! You only got wiser to do it better.

So, we still welcome ourselves into the new year with hopes and aspirations for better things to come.

Now, amidst all going on, it is important to start the year with the right attitude and a positive mindset. You have a blank, clean, and fresh slate in front of you. Whatever you write in it might not or might be the outcome at the end of the year.

Now listen, don't think because 2020 has been a draining year for you, you lose the motivation to plan. As chaotic as the year 2020 was, yet, some made it, businesses flourish, leaders emerged and some passions were borne. What big dreams have you plastered on your wall or written in your book for a long time? This is the time to revisit and re-plan your board.

What grace have you decided to show yourself this year?

How have you chosen to spend your upcoming days/weeks/months and year?

Remember, anything you have planned is not worth its time except you involve the creator-God into your plan. In him, can all plans work according to purpose.

This year, there will be lots to accomplish, mountains to subdue, steps to celebrate, seasons of fear, moment of laughter, moments of failure, and moments of learning. In all of this, grace and a positive mindset are your best ally to see you through. Embracing each moment, knowing well that whatever moment we are celebrating or facing, it's never going to be forever.

Be present in the moment and be thankful every step of the way, not only for things you have but also for things you don't have.

Love and light to every one that has lost
a precious one.

Stay gracious to yourself! I will and you should too!
