"Time is money", this is a phrase I have been hearing since forever.  Frank Dane stated "Time is money, especially when you are talking to a lawyer or buying a commercial". So true!
Gone are the days when someone like me usually sit for hours to watch Tv programme, eat junks and spend endless time on the internet with no money in return. Laughs! The richest man on earth does not have more than 24 hours, yet, he is making money with his time.

When I realised all of these doesn't add any value to me, I had to reset.
Don't get me wrong! I have not been a waster of my time, neither have I been a good investor. But, I decided to make my time count for me , so also can you.

My priorities changed over the years when I became a mum. My time was and is still being shared  with two individuals that has different needs. If you are a mum, you can tell, our children's activities takes the front seat in our lives amidst all other activities that requires our attention. Shout out to all mothers!

Days ago, in my exhausted state, analysing my activities for the day, without any  doubt, this season of my life,  is investing in my children. Ofcourse, who else will they depend on, if not me? After dropping my oldest child in school, I take my younger girl to her playgroup. School for her doesn't start until september, which is still over six months away. And that's just to mention a few of our daily activities.

Numerous questions always pop up in my head like what am I doing with my time? I need more than 24 hours, Is my time worth the activity am doing at that point in time?. So many questions, but one answer, we all have the same amount of time in the day. And it's unfortunate that no matter how hard we try, it cannot be more than 24 hours. Make your time count meaningfully!

Do you ask yourself what you are doing with your time? Is the activity meaningless, profitable or beneficial to you or someone else around you? Be intentional about investing your time in valuable things that will pay back in the future. Not on things that doesn't matter. Gossip, endless conversations, endless search on internet/social media with no particular project, watching endlessly etc. steal our valuable time. Avoid them wisely!
Now you ask me, how can I invest my time right? It's simple, its by planning properly ahead of time and practising  proper  organisation skills . This makes you a beater of time and not the other way round.
There's so much that we can do with our time. Acquiring a new skill or working on an existing one is a good way to invest in oneself. A friend shared with me how she planned to master a new skill in the first six months of the year and another, in the remaining half of the year. Her planning and goal setting is admirable. It is set with time limit. There's no two way to better oneself than this.

I have realised that not properly planning for a particular day, activity or even the week ahead makes the day extremely busy, without a particular thing to point to, at the end of the day that I've done. This affected my fitness goal to the point that it had to take the back seat. I get so busy on irrelevant things and by the time I decide to do some little exercises, my body is tired, and then the whole day is gone without achieving my goal.

Invest your time on healthy relationships. Not all relationships are toxic and not all relationships are healthy. Make  a wise decision by sieving out your circle and investing in your healthy relationships.

When you invest your money, you definitely watch your investment grow and reap its returns. So also is our precious time, invest it on things that will bring you positive return, life and career improvement, success and happiness.
What matters to you? Family, Career, Health, Leisure, Spirituality etc. By carefully managing our time, we will be able to easily navigate all the tasks and more quickly achieve our goals.

The best investment you can make in life is your TIME. It's your choice, invest it wisely.⥈⥈
